The only thing missing from this place is a bar or restaurant, although we knew that when booking. Giuseppe stood out as especially friendly and helpful - even though our Italian is minimal to non-existent, he was kind and patient and made sure we got the info we needed. The staff was wonderful, and provided great recommendations for restaurants in the area. Now 292 (Was 348) on Tripadvisor: Mario de Fiori 37, Rome. We were able to walk or take a train to most destinations within the main part of Rome, including Vatican City. It is close to a metro station which was great for getting around the city quite easily. The location was very close to the Spanish Steps - which aren't all that impressive, but the rest of the area is very nice, although mostly tourist-focused, and high end shopping.
